Quoting Stevie Dirt of Whig, com in a story he did on August 16, “Reed is enjoying his finest overall season in an UMP car, and credits hooking up with Bernheisel Race Cars, Inc., in Jonestown, PA, which produces the Lazer Chassis. ‘(Our program) has had phenomenal support this year,’ said Reed. ‘I’m hungry. I want to win. I don’t do anything else…. don’t hunt, don’t fish and not any good at yard work… but I do want to race’ “
In business-like fashion, Chuck Schutz of Pottstown, PA, thwarted some of the strongest competition he has seen in his illustrious career and earned his 7th NASCAR Weekly Racing Series Late Model Championship at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, PA. And Jim (Bernheisel) has great patience and (provided) Great support. After just a few short conversations with him, I left feeling confident in the car and being a top contender anywhere we unloaded. He also helps a team work with what they have as opposed to always trying to sell more parts. We are excited to be back with a Lazer for 2016.”
Clinton Hersh of Somerset, PA, was the RUSH Late Model champion at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, PA, in his ClearWater Construction 15 and Nick Loffredo was the champion at Racing for Heroes Raceway at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Mackeyville, PA.
