ENTRY LIST GROWS FOR FREEDOM 76 CLASSIC; SPRINTS AND SPORTSMAN FRIDAY NIGHT‏

MORE AND MORE ENTRIES BEING RECEIVED FOR FREEDOM 76 MOD CLASSIC AT GRANDVIEW
                Friday night doubleheader features 305 Sprints and ROC Sportsman
BECHTELSVILLE, PA September 8, 2015 . . . The list of well-known dirt track racing stars entering the $25,000 to win 45th Annual Freedom 76 Modified Classic at Grandview Speedway on Saturday, September 12 continues to grow.
                Add to the list of standouts expected to be in the field of entries trying for a spot in the big event names like Andy Bachetti, Mike Ricci, Ryan Godown, Ryan Watt, Bobby Varin, Tod Cox, Colt Harris, Kenny Gilmore and Brian Hirthler. Already entered were rising star Billy Pauch Jr., the son of a dirt tracing racing legend, veteran Wade Hendrickson and talented Willie Osmun.
                Former winners planning to be part of the big event include Jeff Strunk, Craig VonDohren, Meme DeSantis, Ray Swinehart, and Duane Howard who join a long list of racing talents looking to add some big bucks to their bank account. Of course track regulars such as Mike Kellner, Mike Gular, and Bobby Gunther Walsh, Tim Buckwalter, Don Norris and a host of others will be trying for a spot in the rich classic.
                Last year’s Freedom 76 saw Stewart Friesen win with Duane Howard and Danny Johnson joining him on the podium.
                A full slate of qualifying events will lead up to the Don Schaeffer Minuteman 20, the Pioneer Pole Buildings Cash Dash and the 76 lap finale which includes a fuel stop, the 45th running of the Freedom 76 Classic rewarding the winner with $25,000 plus.
                Adult admission is $40 on race day ($35 in advance) while youngsters 6-11 pay $10 and kids under 6 are free. Rain date is Saturday, September 19th.
                Bobby Gunther Walsh has posted $581 for the Hard Charger in the name of Mike Bailey. T.P. Trailers has $250 for the Hard Luck Driver (a racer that just falls short of making the big event) and there is a large amount of lap money for leaders of sponsored laps.
                Lap sponsorships remain available at $20 per lap and can be had at the track or by telephoning Ernie Saxton at 215.752.7797.
                Friday night racing action will include the 305 Sprints and ROC (Race of Champions) Sportsman in action at 7:30 p.m. In addition there will be practice sessions for Modified racers planning to take part in the Freedom 76. The Sprint car action is expected to attract standouts such as Mike Hagnbottom, Ryan Stillwagon, Karl Fryer, Rick Steif, Tim Tanner Jr. and others. More than 30 talented Sportsman racers, led by track champion Brett Kressley, are expected to see action in the ROC Sportsman action. Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for youngsters 6-11. Under 6 are admitted free.
                Advance tickets for the Freedom 76 will be available for $35 ($40 on race day) on Friday night.
                Those planning to camp on the speedway grounds are reminded to use the fourth turn parking lot area and there are no tarps allowed. No wooden skids can be burned. Use care because of the very dry conditions throughout the area.
                Friday night attendees are reminded to remove any seat coverings. No one will be allowed in the grandstands on Saturday until gates open for advance ticket holders at 3 p.m. Ticket windows open at 3:30 p.m. No objects will be allowed to be used to reserve spots in waiting lines.
