RUSTY SMITH MOTORSPORTS CELEBRITY DINNER FRIDAY NIGHT AT QUAKER STEAK & LUBE A HUGE SUCCESS

The Quaker Steak & Lube Dirt Track Heroes event at the Phillipsburg Mall in Phillipsburg, NJ continues  today with the Mall closing tonight at 9 PM.

Over 100 cars are on display with numerous race tracks and organizations participating.    Part of the eighth annual event was the Rusty Smith Motorsports Celebrity Dinner honoring Gerald & Joanne Chamberlain last night (Friday) at the Quaker Steak & Lube, located on Route 22 East, just one mile from the Phillipsburg Mall.

The Rusty Smith Motorsports sponsored event was a huge success with a near full house at the local Quaker Steak & Lube.

Even with the cold weather and snow mounds, the racing buzz and chatter circulated  throughout the Quaker Steak & Lube restaurant.    Legendary driver, Gerald Chamberlain,   well known as “The Everett Express” was honored along with his wife Joanne, for their countless contributions to the sport.   For the Chamberlain’s, the trip to Phillipsburg exceeded four hours, and for the many race fans, it was greatly appreciated.     Donna Miller, co-owner of the Dirt Track Heroes Car Show opened  the ceremony thanking the Chamberlain’s for making the event and extending a very appreciative “thank you” to Rusty Smith, his wife Donna and Rusty Smith Motorsports for the thoughtful sponsorship of the dinner.

Special thanks also go out to the local Quaker Steak & Lube for their outstanding service, high quality food and for their fun atmosphere that recognizes in such a big way, local short track racing.

All parties involved look forward to the 2016 edition of the Quaker Steak & Lube 9th Annual Dirt Track Heroes Car Show, returning again to the Phillipsburg Mall.

END
