25 year-old Stephen Kemery actually signed up to race in the 2014 rookie class one year ago. Unfortunately, Stephen suffered a compression fracture of his C-11 vertebrae last winter. The injury sidelined Kemery from competing in his 600 micro sprint on Bridgeport's 1/4 mile track until late last summer. Kemery will be behind the wheel of a 2008 Bicknell chassis powered by a 602 crate engine. The Sicklerville, NJ resident will carry his familiar No. 69k. Kemery did compete in last year's 'Wildcard Weekend' event where he showed smooth transition from the micro sprint to the Crate/Sportsman.
Keep an eye out for more information regarding this year's D.A.'s Rookie class in the upcoming weeks. Any drivers planning on running this year's rookie series are encouraged to call Danny Serrano at 609-433-4487 to register.

Gaskill is not stranger to the speedway, as he's been attending races at Bridgeport since he was a toddler in the late 90s. He has helped modified driver Corey Anderson the past few years, but has always wanted to race himself and now he has the opportunity. Roger will be relying mainly on his father and close friend to serve as his crew for the 2015 season.
Any 2015 Rookie competitors are urged to call Danny Serrano at 609-433-4487 to register for this year's rookie field. For additional information you can log onto the track's new website atwww.bpspeedway.com.

Bridgeport, NJ - A third member of the 2015 D.A.'s Auto Body Rookie Class has registered this week with the Bridgeport Speedway. Tom Holding of Millville, NJ has eagerly committed to this year's rookie class. What's unique about Tom is the fact that although he's a 'rookie', he is 61 years young! A 602 crate engine will be strapped into an '06 Bicknell that will carry an orange and blue No. 17. Former Bridgeport hot shoe himself, Wayne Weaver will be turning the wrenches serving as Tom's crew chief and driving coach.
Holding was an avid race fan that attended the now shuttered Vineland Speedway and followed racing up until the 70's. In 2007 Tom got into the Vintage Stock Car scene and has been growing his enthusiasm ever since. He currently owns The Elton Hildreth No. 16J, the Button No. 5 coupe, and both the Ronnie and Toby Tobias No. 17 vintage cars. If that's not enough Mr. Holding is also the Director of Security, Registration, and Grounds at the New Jersey Motorsports Park also located in Millville. .
