Sicklerville, NJ (July 15, 2014) – After deciding not to compete in Bridgeport Speedway’s High Stakes at the Port event on Sunday, July 6, Brett Ballard entered his 2014 Teo Pro in the Spirit Dodge Big Block Modified division on Saturday, July 12. The B&M Motorsports driver had high expectations for a strong finish on this night after a week of aggressively making adjustments and changes to the car. Unfortunately, the outcome of the evening did not match the dedicated preparation of Ballard and his crew. Qualifying for the twenty-four car feature via the consolation event, Ballard started the event in last place. During the 25-lap feature, the handling of the car grew worse and Ballard dropped out of the contest with fifteen laps completed. After the twenty-second place finish in the race, the team met in the pit area and is planning to make several changes for the next race on Saturday, July 19. The John Latwinas Farmers Insurance Agency of Sicklerville, NJ, Larkin Auto Service, CB Productions, CTS Lawn Care, and Delran Auto Body are Ballard’s current marketing partners.
Matt Budd will be joining his teammate Ballard at the next event at Bridgeport Speedway. Budd will be competing in the second annual Bill Hill Memorial race for Crate/Sportsman. “The Catfish” will be looking to score his first win of the year in his immaculately prepared 4M Teo Pro Car. Budd’s marketing partners in 2014 include Racersguide.com, Vahlco Racing Wheels, and Rick Sweeten Images.
