Dan Green Has Another Top 5 Finish In The Scott Select #46!

Bechtelsville, PA – There is always the fine details to finish up on Saturday afternoons before the G & H Motorsports team loads up the car to travel to Grandview Speedway. This week it was just a few small things to finish and the team headed to the track.

    Dan and the team unloaded the #46 NASCAR Whelen All American BRC Dirt Late Model then Dan had a scheduled interview with Amy and Pete Knappenberger of Racers Roundtable, where Dan and Modified Driver Jeff Strunk were the featured guests.     Heat Race #2 in 5^th spot was where Dan started the night from and at the drop of the green flag Dan took over the 4^th spot getting by Jason Miller #44. Getting by the #31 Dave Ogin the next lap and the battle was on for second with Bill Henning #80. After a lap 4 restart Dan took second and took chase for Lou Egrie Jr. #4e. With no other cautions in the 8 lap event Egrie was able to take the win with Dan right on his back bumper for second.

    With normal changes to the car the G & H Motorsports team went to work, Todd Lapp, Scott Green, Cathy Green, Debbie Dutter, Bob Higginbotham, Greg Hoffmaster, Jim Alexander and Brett Higginbotham all did their part in getting the car ready.

Starting 7^th in the Hatfield Meats NASCAR BRC 25 lap Late Model Feature Dan took the #46 to the bottom of the track and moved to 6^th after one lap. As the race went on there was a lot of spots changing and with only two caution flags waving Dan race hard with several different drivers most notable were Kory Fleming #704, Randy Stoudt #10, Wayne Pfeil #72, Jason Miller #44 and Bill Henning #80. Stoudt went on to claim his 60^th career Late Model win with Pfeil second, Fleming third and Dan bringing the #46 home in fourth. That makes 9 Top 10's and 6 Top 5's for the season in 12 races to keep Dan in 6^th place in points.
