For the third season in a row, the Bridgeport Speedway will present it's Night of Wings. Night of Wings III is coming your way this Wednesday, July 16th with a new look and a new twist to the previous two events.
The 360 Sprint Cars will headline this year's show instead of the 410s from past seasons. Sprint car teams from many different venues have shown their support for this year's event. Fresh off his two wins during PA Speedweeks will be Greg Hodnett in Mike Heffner's Leland.com #27. Eight time URC Champion, Curt Michael out of Oceanview, DE will be wheeling the Bill Gallagher #5G in Wednesday night's action.
URC will be well represented with the likes of Davie Franek, Josh Well and Michael at the top of the list. There has also been support out of the Empire Super Sprint organization from New York. ESS representation will be headed by Jason Barney and Jeff Cook.
An added incentive has been offered to encourage the support of the Hilborn Tri-State Race Saver 305 Sprints. While at somewhat of a cubic inch disadvantage in the engine compartment, the $500 to take the green plus an additional $300 bonus to the best finishing 305 should entice some of the TSRS race teams.
