TWIN BLACKJACK 21s HIGHLIGHT BRIDGEPORT RACE WEEKEND

 

 

     The Spirit Dodge Big Block Modifieds will compete in Twin Blackjack 21 lap feature events on Saturday night.  Each feature will carry a full set of Bridgeport Speedway Track Championship points which could blow the already tight points chase wide open!

 

     Bob Staight of Twin Oaks, a former sponsor of the late Doug Hoffman's 60 Over, is sponsoring Saturday night's Twin Blackjack 21s.  A $500 bonus will be offered by Twin Oaks for the driver with the best Black Jack hand "21" at the end of the night.  In case of a tie, the driver who has the best average finish will receive the bonus.

 

 

     Saturday night is also Bike Night at the Bridgeport Speedway, courtesy of Sam's Cycles.  There will be Bike Giveaways for boys and girls sponsored by drivers Rocco Infante, Steve Searock, Travis Hill/Boinski Racing, Jesse Hill/Cogdill Racing, Stan Frankenfield, George Nardelli, Pete Serra, Mark Hartman, Mike Franz, Dave Witte, Rusty Smith and Steve Desmelyk. 

 

     Saturday action gets under way at 7pm with the Spirit Dodge Big Block Modifieds, 811 Dig Safely Crate/Sportsman, Stewart Stainless Outlaw Stocks and the DA's Auto Body & Repair Rookies. 

 

     There will be musical entertainment provided by Kelsey Coan.  Three lucky fans will find Gift Certificates for the novelty stand under their grandstand seat.  As always, there will be the T-shirt Launch, Moon Bounce by One Stop Party Shop, Cicontes Pizza and Village Pub giveaways.  The Bandit Bus will be ready to escort fans through the pit area throughout the evening and will even pace the field of the Black Jack 21. 

 

     Fans will be greeted by Big Block Modified Driver, Scott Ambruster, Crate/Sportsman Driver, Marc Herman and Outlaw Stock competitor, Jimmy Hughes as they enter the speedway.  The drivers will be on hand to sign autographs, pose for pictures and talk to the fans before the racing action begins on Saturday. 

 

     The weekend gets started with racing action on the quarter mile Bridgeport Speedway on Friday evening with 600cc and 270cc Micro Sprints as well as 4 & 8 Cylinder Enduros.  Racing begins on Friday nights at 8pm.
