ACCOMPLISHED RACER LEE NARDELLI STARTING A NEW ADVENTURE IN 2014
Sicklerville, NJ (December 3, 2013) – After spending the last few seasons racing primarily in Micro-Sprint Cars, Lee Nardelli is planning on a new adventure in 2014. “I have purchased a SpeedSTR and I will be competing at Action Track USA in Kutztown, PA in the coming year,” stated Nardelli.
At only 30 years of age, Nardelli has a very impressive racing resume. Starting at the age of eight, he began his racing career in the quarter midget ranks. The Bridgeton, NJ resident became a star in quarter midget racing as he collected three championships. Since leaving the quarter midget class, Nardelli has concentrated his efforts in Micro-Sprint racing. His Micro-Sprint career has included numerous feature wins along with four track championships in the 125cc and 600cc divisions. “My proudest moment was clinching the 2011 600cc Micro-Sprint championship at Bridgeport Speedway on the last night by winning the final point race,” declared Nardelli. The accomplished driver has had success in other racing classes as well. Nardelli spent the 2004 season in Jasper Sprint Cars and earned the “Star of the Future” award. In addition, Nardelli has competed in the Sportsman Stock Car class on dirt. His signature win in 358 Sportsman racing took place in 2007 when he took the checkered flag in a 30-lap feature race at Bridgeport Speedway’s prestigious Atlantic Coast Weekend event.
While the SpeedSTR will be his primary focus, Nardelli will also participate in Micro-Sprint competition in 2014. “We plan on racing a 250cc/270cc Micro-Sprint at various tracks as time permits,” commented Nardelli.
