DEADLINE FOR GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY BANQUET TICKET PURCHASES APPROACHING

Bechtelsville, PA October 4, 2013 . . . Champions will be honored and a variety of special awards will be presented when the annual Grandview Speedway Awards Banquet takes place on Saturday, November 16^th at the Gilbertsville, PA Fire Co. Social Hall.

            The deadline for ticket purchases has been set for October 25^th. That means all ticket orders must be in the hands of Vicki Gehris by that date. Tickets are priced at $35 and includes a home style roast beef and ham dinner. The award presentations will be followed by music for dancing. Orders may be placed with Vicki at 610.367.2776.

            Craig VonDohren of Oley will be honored as the NASCAR Whelen All American Series 358 Modified champion for the seventh time. Jared Umbenhauer (Richland) will receive the NASCAR Sportsman championship honors for the second time and Jason Miller (New Tripoli) will walk off with the NASCAR Late Model championship awards for the first time.

            A number of special awards will be presented including Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Driver, and a number of others.
