BIG MONEY ON THE LINE AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY’S BILL THOMAS MEMORIAL

Bridgeport, NJ (October 14, 2013) – For competitors attending  
Bridgeport Speedway’s Bill Thomas Memorial Micro-Sprint Nationals on 
Saturday, October 26, big money will be on the line. In the IPM Pest 
Management 600cc Micro-Sprint and 270cc Micro-Sprint divisions, the 
victor of each 30-lap feature will go away with $1000 and the take the 
green money will be $80.  In addition, each finishing position in the 
Micro-Sprint classes will be sponsored.  The cash collected in this 
endeavor will be added to the attractive purse. To date, several 
finishing positions have been sponsored at greater than the $10 stated 
minimum.  To get your company involved, pass on best wishes to your 
favorite driver, or recognize one of your sponsors in a special

information.

Four additional car classes will be in competition on the inner dirt 
oval. The 4-Cylinder Enduro Cars will do battle with an enhanced purse 
available and they will be joined by the Delaware Chargers and Super 
Trucks. The Slingshots by Tobias will be on the card with $500 going 
to the victor if a minimum of twenty cars are on hand. The Garden 
State Vintage Stock Cars and an 8-Cylinder Enduro event will round out 
the program.

On Saturday, October 26, the gates open at 3:00 p.m. A trick and treat 
session for kids with drivers and their cars gets underway at 4:30 
p.m. on the midway behind the main grandstand.  Racing is set to start 
at 6:00 p.m. Pit admission is $30. Admission to the grandstands is $15 
with no charge for kids 9 and under. In case of inclement weather, the 
Bill Thomas Memorial will be moved to Saturday, November 2.
