$10,000 TO WIN FORREST ROGERS MEMORIAL FOR MODIFIEDS SHOULD PROVIDE A LOT OF EXCITEMENT FOR FANS AT GRANDVIEW, LATE MODELS AND SPORTSMAN ALSO SEE ACTION

BECHTELSVILLE, PA August 8, 2013 . . . Money talks!! Any time big bucks are up for grabs at Grandview Speedway the racing action becomes even more exciting than the regular Saturday night stock car racing. This Saturday night the 43^rd annual Forrest Rogers Memorial presented by Pioneer Pole Buildings will offer $10,000 to the winner of the 50-lap Modified stock car classic.

The best of the best dirt track stock car racers will be in action. Current NASCAR 358 Modified point leader Craig VonDohren will be trying for his sixth win of the season while defending champion Duane Howard, a seven time winner, tries for another victory. Last year’s Forrest Rogers Memorial winner Kevin Hirthler will be there as will a host of other top talents.

In addition to all the Modified excitement the Late Models and Sportsman will see action.

Racing gets the green flag at 7:30 p.m with spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. As has been standard practice at Grandview this season there will be three racers with their cars on display doing a meet and greet at the main gate starting at 5:30 p.m.

There will also be a display of Enduro cars in the first turn grandstand area.

Adult admission is $25 for this very special classic racing event while youngsters 6 through 12 will pay just $5. Kids under 6 are admitted FREE.

Tbe Pick 3 Modified Contest is now up to $500. A special Forrest Rogers Memorial program book will be available with a story tracing the history of the event.

Coming up on Sunday, August 11, at 1 p.m. is a full show of Outlaw Enduro racers along with the Blast from the Past Vintage Cars. Adult admission is just $10 with youngsters 12 and under admitted free.
