SMITH AND COSLOP GAIN FIRST BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY FEATURE WINS

Bridgeport, NJ (July 27, 2013) – At Bridgeport Speedway, a pair of
drivers gained their first wins on the quarter mile track. Matt Smith
grabbed the checkered flag in the Integrated Pest Management 600cc
Micro-Sprints with Steve Coslop making his inaugural visit to victory
lane after winning the 270cc Micro-Sprint contest. In the 4-Cylinder
Enduro Car race, Warren Stradley was the victor.

In the 20-lap main event for the Integrated Pest Management 600cc
Micro-Sprints, Matt Smith led every step of the way to gain his first
feature victory. After the original start was marred by an incident
that resulted in two cars flipping, the race went non-stop as Smith
jumped out to the lead from his outside pole position and never looked
back. In the final five circuits, Smith navigated through heavy lap
traffic to preserve the win. Jermain Godshall completed the race in
second with Steve Bracall taking third. After starting tenth, Lee
Nardell finished in fourth and twelfth place starting Chris Locuson
came home in fifth. The Integrated Pest Management 600cc Micro-Sprint
heats were captured by Richie Keller and Jon Keller.

Steve Coslop held off Tyler Reinhardt in the second half of the 20 lap
270cc Micro-Sprint feature to earn his first win at Bridgeport
Speedway. Coslop started fourth and set the pace for the entire
distance. With Reinhardt taking the runner-up spot, Dave Nelson
finished in third. John Blanda and Justin Stillwagon completed the top
five. Justin Stillwagon and John Blanda won the qualifying events in
the 270cc Micro-Sprint division.

Warren Stradley rolled to his fifth consecutive checkered flag in the
20-lap contest for the 4-Cylinder Enduro Cars. Stradley wrestled the
lead from Todd Francis on the third circuit and led the balance of the
event. Joe LaClaire drove a strong race to claim the runner-up spot on
the last lap. Francis, John Gray, and newcomer John Webster rounded
out the top five.

On Friday, August 2, twin 15-lap features are on tap for the 270cc
Micro-Sprints. The Integrated Pest Management 600cc Micro-Sprints and
4-Cylinder Enduro Cars are on the agenda as well. Gates open at 5:00
p.m. with action starting at 7:15 p.m. Grandstand admission is $12 for
fans 10 and older. All kids 9 and under are free. Admission to the pit
area is $25 with a license and $30 without a license.

Bridgeport Speedway provides a safe and secure family atmosphere, free
parking, giveaways and fan participation games. Billed ‘The Fastest
Dirt Track in the East’, Bridgeport Speedway is a banked 5/8th mile
dirt oval, featuring a dirt 1/4 mile oval embedded in the center, and
is located in Southern New Jersey -- just minutes from Pennsylvania
and Delaware at exit 14 off of I-295.
