LATE AFTERNOON RAIN CANCELS RACING AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY

Bridgeport, NJ (June 28, 2013) – A late afternoon rain storm forced
Bridgeport Speedway management to cancel the Fast and Furious Friday
racing slated for June 28. With no racing taking place on Friday, July
5, the next event on the quarter mile is set for Friday, July 12. On
this night, S&D Racing will sponsor the $500-to-win 600cc Micro-Sprint
feature. The Garden State Vintage Stock Cars will be on display and
have an exhibition event on the inner dirt oval. The 270cc
Micro-Sprints and 4-Cylinder Enduro Cars will round out the agenda.
Gates unlock at 5:00 p.m. with racing starting at 7:15 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $10 for fans 10 and older. All kids 9 and
under are FREE. Admission to the pit area is $25 with a license and
$30 without a license.

Bridgeport Speedway roars back into action on Saturday, June 29 with
Diploma Night presented by Active Environmental. On this special
evening of racing on the outer oval, all students with a copy of their
diploma will receive free grandstand admission. In addition, the
D.A.’S Auto Body and Repair Rookie Series champion will be crowned
following a double point finale. Big Block Modifieds,
Crate/Sportsman, and TSRS Sprint Cars complete the racing card. The
pit gates open at 4:30 p.m. with the grandstand turnstiles unlocking
at 5:30 p.m. Action gets underway at 7:00 p.m. Adult (16 and older)
admission will be $20 with students (10-15) being admitted for $10.
Kids 9 and under are free. Pit admission is $30 for Bridgeport members
and $35 for non-members.

featuring a dirt 1/4 mile oval embedded in the center, and is located
in Southern New Jersey -- just minutes from Pennsylvania and Delaware
at exit 14 off of I-295.
