RAIN STOPS URC FRIDAY NIGHT AT BEDFORD SPEEDWAY, URC IN ACTION AT SELINSGROVE SATURDAY NIGHT, MAY 11

A thunderstorm rolled into Bedford, PA just prior to the URC drivers meeting Friday night at the Bedford Speedway. The rain continued and forced the cancellation of the second of the 2013 Rislone URC Sprint Series. The URC sprints will be inaction Saturday night, May 11, competing in the Jack Gunn Memorial at the Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, PA. This prestigious event, dedicated to the late Jack Gunn will pay $3,500 to the winner of the feature event. Race time is 7 PM at Selinsgrove.

The rain out event at Bedford Speedway was re-scheduled for Friday night, June 21, setting up a two race weekend with a visit to the Winchester, VA Speedway on Saturday night, June 22.
