DUANE MAUSTELLER PLANS FRIDAY NIGHT RUN IN RISLONE URC SPRINT SERIES OPENER AT BIG DIAMOND SPEEDWAY

Bloomsburg, PA open cockpit racer Duane Mausteller announced on Saturday his plans to take part in the Rislone URC Sprint Series opener on Friday night, April 26 at the Big Diamond Speedway. For URC, this marks their sixty-six season of presenting professional sprint car racing. Duane Mausteller, a well-known competitor in both the 358 Sprints as well as the midgets looks to attend many of URC’s events in the coming season. Duane has several wins with his 358 sprint as well ARDC. On a weekly basis, Mausteller competes at Selinsgrove Speedway for promoter Charlie Paige. Car Owner Randy Mausteller commented, “We enjoy racing at Selinsgrove and want to expand the number of races we run each season so we purchased a 360 motor and plan to run URC when our schedule allows”.

The Mausteller race garage currently has three race ready sprint cars set for the 2013 season. Sponsorship support from Harry’s U-Pull It, Midway Performance Motors and Bloomsburg NAPA are proudly displayed on the familiar #21.

“For years, we raced in club oriented shows and now look to do more open type events”. Randy Mausteller continued to say, “We have no issues with club racing, we just feel strongly that 360 sprint car racing is the direction of the future and it’s certainly building strength”.

The Rislone URC Sprint Series roster is looking very strong heading into Big Diamond Speedway next Friday night. Along with Mausteller, look for URC talent to include previous feature event winners JJ Grasso, Josh Weller, Aaron Ott, Kramer Williamson, Joey Biasi, Art Liedl, Ed Aikin, Kevin Darling, Mark Bitner, Davie Franek, Randy West, Dave Ely, Andy Best and defending 2012 URC Champion Robbie Stillwaggon.

Following the Rislone URC Sprint Series opener, URC will head to the Bedford Speedway on Friday night, May 10.
