Also included in the TV coverage is driver interviews, up to date news, points, race team information and more. The shows can also be seen on Video on Demand at any time. You must be a subscriber to RCN-TV in order to view the coverage.
“This is great exposure for our racing events and gives the racers the opportunity to gain a huge amount of exposure for their sponsors,” said track operator Bruce Rogers. “The televised events also give us the opportunity to reach out to people who are not currently fans and give them a chance to see what great excitement is generated by stock car racing at Grandview Speedway. And viewers will get to see all three divisions of competition.”
Well known motorsports journalist Randy Kane and popular photographer/personality Mike Feltenberger will be in the broadcast booth.
The 2013 season at Grandview Speedway, the 51st, will kick off with a free-to-the-public practice session on Saturday, March 30th at noon. The practice sessions are open to all divisions of racing.
The chase for the championship points gets the green flag on Saturday, April 6th at 7 p.m. with a tripleheader show of NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman stock cars. Again this season the Modifieds get to race for $2750 to win in regular Saturday night action.
