BD Motorsports Media LLC Ready for Motorsports Expo 2013 This Weekend In Syracuse, N.Y.; Matt Sheppard, Stewart Friesen & Mike Mahaney To Sign Autographs Saturday At 4 p.m.; Brian Malcolm’s No. 119 Modified On Display

BOYERTOWN, PA - BD Motorsports Media LLC is set for a first-time appearance at the 27th annual Motorsports Expo this weekend (Sat.-Sun. March 9-10) on The New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, N.Y.

The Boyertown, Pa.-based special events promotion enterprise has an active display planned that will showcase Brian Malcolm's No. 119 dirt Modified owned by Tom and Terry Coar and Chris Clark. Malcolm, a popular veteran racer from Lake Ariel, Pa., is a regular at Penn Can (Pa.) and Five Mile Point (N.Y.) speedways in the Southern Tier region. BD Motorsports Media will occupy Booth No. F37.

An autograph session is set for 4 p.m. Saturday (March 9) to include leading ’12 Northeast winner (per records maintained by Area Auto Racing News) Stewart Friesen, emerging Empire State star Mike Mahaney and reigning/three-time Mr. DIRTcar Modified champion Matt Sheppard. A special edition poster will be provided during the autograph session.

Information will be available on the Pioneer Pole Buildings/VP Racing Fuels 'Clash at the Can' (June 11) and King of the Can (Oct. 18) events at Penn Can and the sixth anniversary Short Track SuperNationals 'Working Man's Race' at Five Mile Point (Oct. 12).

Additionally, fans and racers can learn more about the recently announced 'Crazy 8s' promotion set for I-88 (N.Y.) Speedway on July 24. The event offers $6,888 for 48 laps of Modified racing, with the BRP Can Am Late Models serving as the support division. It is the first BD promotion at the Afton, N.Y., fairgrounds facility since 2006.

The Friesen-Deyo Promotions Pioneer Pole Buildings 'Dirty Jersey 60' Super DIRTcar Series event set for New Egypt (N.J.) Speedway on June 18 will also be well represented. Information will be available for drivers in the Modified division in addition to the Crate Sportsman vs. Open Sportsman ‘Turnpike 25’ program.

Eye-catching 'Dirty Jersey 60' apparel will be on sale at the show. Tee shirts are $20, long-sleeve shirts are $22 and sweatshirts are $30 (add $3 for 3XL and larger). A free BD Motorsports Media can koozie will accompany all ‘Dirty Jersey’ apparel purchases (while supplies last).

Additionally, the Doug Hoffman tribute apparel printed for the recent Racing Legends Reunion & Car Show in Reading, Pa., will be available due to inquiries received from those in New York State.
