BEFORE MY TIME

Leon McMinn captured a win out at susquehanna speedway during the flathead day's back in the 50's Leon would drive for my uncles, John and Bob Newlin, through the year's up until his fatal accident at the reading fairgrounds in the late 60's. Leon McMinn, better know as "Minnie" to some, was actually a big fellow in stature and a close family friend to both my uncle's and my father. They all grew up in the same area, and did many thing's together away from the track. That include's raising a little hell. Leon alway's had your back so to speak. R.I.P.
