Mark Smith is a man with a mission statement. A former NY native and dirt modified driver, who has migrated to the central pa area several year's back, to race in the big league's of the very tough, competitive, 410 sprint car scene. Like many good racer's. Mark came up through the the winged open wheel rank's in the limited super sportsman division to were he is today.

After several succeccful year's driving for some of central pennsylviania's top sprint car team's. Mark's true spirit and ambition, came in the formation and building of his Mach-1 chassis buisness back in 2008. Today thing's seem to be on the right track. Mark's driving abilities, along with his welding and fabricating skill's speak for themself out on the track. Next time you get a chance to get to a sprint car track, just take a look around, and you will see more team's with a Mach-1 chassis than was in the previous year. I wish Mark continued success for year's to come. It's alway's nice doing what you love and making a living doing it.
