HOWARD BACK TO DEFEND NASCAR TITLE AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY
2013 SCHEDULE RELEASED, SEAROCK LAWN BACK AS SPONSOR

BECHTELSVILLE, PA January 10, 2013 …….It is official!!! 2012 NASCAR Whelen All American Series 358 Modified Champion Duane Howard will be back to defend his title at Grandview Speedway.
Howard, winner of nine feature races at the Berks County clay oval, in 2012 is looking to improve on that record as he wheels the Chad Sinon owned BPG Racing entry sporting a new Bicknell chassis.
The Oley, PA driver will be looking for his sixth track championship as the official chase for the championship kicks off with a tripleheader NASCAR point show on Saturday, April 6th featuring the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman stock cars. Racing will start at 7 p.m.
Admission prices for regular Saturday night events will remain the same with adults paying $15 and young people 12 and under admitted free. Military are admitted free when in uniform. Free parking is available on the speedway grounds.
Event organizer Bruce Rogers has released the 2013 schedule and it can now be found at www.grandviewspeedway.com.
The schedule will also be available to fans attending the Motorsports 2013 Race Car and Trade Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. Grandview Speedway and the Thunder on the Hill Racing Series will share a display area during the show that runs from Friday, January 18th thru Sunday, January 20th.
A variety of racing events will be featured at Grandview Speedway during the 51st anniversary season with the BPG Racing Freedom 76 topping off the action on Saturday, September 14 with $25,000 going to the winner of the annual classic.
Enduro Racing action will return to the one-third-mile, banked clay track in 2013 with six events schedule starting with Sunday, April 14th at 1 p.m.
The first midweek Thunder on the Hill show, promoted by Bob Miller and Bruce Rogers, is set for Wednesday, June 5th and will feature the United States Auto Club sprint cars and American Racing Drivers Club wingless midgets.
Searock Lawn Care, located in Bath, PA, has announced that they will return as sponsor of the Late Model Hard Charger and are adding a bonus. A Sportsman driver able to win a 25-lap feature from 15th starting spot on back will earn a $50 bonus. Searock Lawn Care is owned by Sportsman racer Steve Searock.
Season tickets, good for all 2013 Saturday night events, are available for $335. Send a check payable to Grandview Speedway covering the number of season tickets you are purchasing at 87 Wilt Road, Bechtelsville, PA 19505. Please include a self addressed stamped envelope. Season ticket holders are entitled to a reserved seat of their choice.
