RICHIE KELLER TOPS THE 600CC MICRO-SPRINT FIELD AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY

Swedesboro, NJ (May 5, 2012) – On the quarter mile dirt oval at
Bridgeport Speedway, Richie Keller topped his rivals in the 600cc
Micro-Sprint feature. Charlie Lamanna was victorious in the 270cc
Micro-Sprint main event. The 4-Cylinder Enduro Car event was taken by
Warren Stradley.

Following one misfire, the 20-lap feature for the 600cc Micro-Sprints
got underway with Dave Carlberg pacing the field. After starting the
contest in sixth, Richie Keller was on the march towards the front and
motored into second with three tours completed. Quickly, Keller moved
in on Carlberg and took over the top spot on lap 5 just before the
caution flag waved for Ken Hanley. When action resumed, Keller
maintained his lead with Chris Locuson moving into second and his
brother, Andrew, taking third. At the halfway point, Keller was still
in front with lap traffic ahead. On lap 11, Andrew Locuson inherited
the runner-up spot as Chris Locuson retired from the race with a
mechanical issue. One circuit later, Andrew Locuson became the new
point man and Bill Thomas took over second as Keller slid up the track
while running with slower cars. Also on lap 12, the final caution flag
of the contest waved for Dave Graziano. On the restart, Andrew Locuson
kept his lead but Keller was not going to be deterred on this night.
After taking over second on lap 13, Keller regained the lead with
fourteen revolutions in the books. Keller survived another round of
slower traffic in the last two laps to escape with the victory. Thomas
got by Andrew Locuson in the closing laps for second. Joe Kay and
Shane Lewis completed the top five. Shane Lewis, Bill Thomas and Tim
Iulg won the qualifying events in the 600cc Micro-Sprint division. The
consolation race was taken by Bryant Davis.

After taking over the top spot on lap 6, Charlie Lamanna led the
remaining distance to secure his second victory of the season in the
20-lap main event for the 270cc Micro-Sprints. Justin Stillwagon came
home in the runner-up position after starting the race in twelfth. Lee
Nardelli, Steve Coslop and Nick Walton rounded out the top five
finishers. The 270cc Micro-Sprint heat races went to Nick Walton and
Lee Nardelli.

In 20-lap 4-Cylinder Enduro Car race, Warren Stradley conquered his
opponents in taking his fourth win of the season. Second place went to
Mike Dunn. Filling out the top five was Art Knapp, Scott Dunn and
Justin Dunn.
