BECHTELSVILLE, PA April 11, 2012 . . . Coming off a great opening night of racing action that saw the NASCAR 358 Modifieds run off their 30-lap feature without a caution, action returns to Grandview Speedway on Saturday night, April 14th with three big 50-lap features topping the program.
The NASCAR 358 Modifieds will be racing for $4,000 to win in their 50-lap feature while the 50-lappers for the Sportsman and the Late Models will each pay $1,500 to win.
In addition each feature winner has the opportunity to pick up extra cash courtesy of T.P.Trailers of Limerick. The 358 Modified feature winner can get $250 while the Sportsman and Late Model winners can earn an extra $100. All they need to do to get the extra money is carry the T.P. Trailers decals clearly visible on each side of the winning race car.
Modified racers using VP gas can pick up an additional $100 for a win provided they are carrying the VP decals on each side of car (clearly visible), have a VP patch on racing uniform and have a valid receipt for their VP gas.
Racing will get the green flag at 7 p.m. for the qualifying heat races that lead up to the 50-lap feature races.
Admission is $25 for adults for this special event while youngsters 6 through 12 will pay just $5. Children under 6 will be admitted FREE. And there is always FREE parking on the speedway grounds.
After having sound system problems on opening night the Rogers family is in the process of having the entire sound system revamped with work expected to be completed within 30 days.
Coming up on Saturday, April 21st and 28th, there will be tripleheader shows featuring the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman. Modifieds run in a 30 lap feature, the Late Models and Sportsman each run in 20 lap features. Regular admission price for the 7 p.m. shows will be $15 while youngsters 12 and under are admitted FREE.
On Sunday, April 22nd the first of the Sunday Small Car Series events will be presented and will include 270 and 600 cc Micros, Slingshots and 600 Modifieds. Racing starts at 2 p.m.
And on Sunday, April 29th the NEETS Enduro racers return with events for big cars, little cars and ladies along with the Blast from the Past Vintage car racing events.
