Saturday April 14 @ New Egypt (NJ) Speedway. Small Car Enduro #1. Racing starts at 7:30PM, Enduro takes place after completion of racing card.

Sunday April 15 @ Wall (NJ) Speedway, Asphalt Series Race #3. The Tax Evaders 100 (Big Car Enduro, Small Car Enduro, Ladies Race). Racing – 1:00PM.




NEETS ENDURO DIRT TOUR PRESENTS ANNUAL SPRING FLING RACES THIS SATURDAY AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY…


March 26, 2012 – Bechtelsville, PA – The 2012 NEETS Dirt Tour, sponsored by Scott Dunn Auto Service, will present race #1 this Saturday evening March 31st at the 1/3 mile oval of Grandview Speedway. Besides a full card of exciting endurance racing, the brand new club known as the blast from the past vintage stock cars will also hold their first points race of the season.


The big cars will battle in the “Mega Dash” 150-lap enduro while the small cars wage war in the “Micro Mosh” 150-lap enduro. The always entertaining ladies division is competing in a 25-lap race, while the vintage stock cars will contend in a pair of main events. This race marks the first of eight NEETS point events at Grandview Speedway. Other later season Sunday races will be held on April 29th, May 27th, June 24th, July 15th, August 5th, September 2nd, and September 30th.


Earlier in the afternoon, Grandview will be holding a free to the public open practice session which begins at 12:00PM. Later in the day, adult general admission to the stands for the Spring Fling is just $10. Enduro competitors are encouraged to arrive earlier on Saturday in order to pass through the season’s first car inspection process.


The scheduled order of events for Saturday March 31 is as follows: 4:30PM – Pit Office opens for NEETS final registrations, transponders and line-ups. 5:30PM – Enduro and vintage stock car driver’s meeting. 6:00PM – Vintage stock car warm-ups. 6:15PM – Small cars report to the track for line-ups. 6:30PM – First vintage stock car feature followed by small car enduro (150-laps), second vintage stock car feature, big car enduro (150-laps), and ladies race (25-laps).


This is the fourth annual Spring Fling for NEETS at Grandview Speedway. Past big car winners include: Justen Steigerwalt (2011), and Tim Pauch (2010, 2009). Previous small car winning drivers are: Steve Wilson (2011), Jeff Walls (2010) and Steve Todorow (2009). In the ladies division, two events have been held as part of the Spring Fling. Jen Schwager was victorious in 2011 and Carrie Pyle took top honors in 2010.


The pre-entries for this event continue to roll in as over 60 drivers have already signed up between the three classes. The list includes a wide variety of competitors from past champions, to drivers from other speedways, and several newcomers. A reminder to competitors that pre-registration is simple as it can be done by visiting the tour’s official website, www.neetsracing.com . All pre-registered cars will draw for starting position, while competitors who register on race day will start behind the pre-registered teams.
