50TH ANNUAL ANNIVERSARY SEASON AT GRANDVIEW SET TO START
DINNERS FOR WINNERS PROGRAM ANNOUNCED

BECHTELSVILLE, PA March 9, 2012 . . . With the 50th anniversary season of stock car racing set to start in just a few short weeks race teams are working overtime to make sure their racing equipment is in peak condition and a lot of teams will be bringing brand new equipment out for opening night.
Racers will have the opportunity to “test and tune” that equipment on Saturday, March 31st at noon when the annual free-to-the-public practice session is presented at the NASCAR sanctioned Grandview Speedway. The practice session will be followed, at 6 p.m., by a NEETS Enduro show along with racing for the Blast from the Past Vintage Stock Cars.
A huge number of race cars are expected to be on hand as the practice is open to all divisions of competition including the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models, Sportsman, 600 Modifieds, Micro Sprints, Slingshots, and more.
Kicking off the official start of the 50th anniversary season will be a tripleheader show on Saturday, April 7th, 7 p.m. featuring the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and new to Grandview Saturday night action this season, the Sportsman stock cars. This will be the triple show action that will be featured on Saturdays throughout the season.
Racers are reminded that T.P. Trailers of Limerick is posting $250 for the winner of the NASCAR 358 Modified features and $100 for the winner of each Saturday night Late Model and Sportsman feature. In order to collect the bonus bucks the winner’s race car must be carrying T.P. Trailers decals on both sides in clearly visible locations. Cars will be checked in victory lane.
The first extra distance events of the season will take place on Saturday, April 14th at 7 p.m. with the running of the 50th Anniversary Special Night that will include 50 lap features for the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman.
New this year is the DINNERS FOR WINNERS promotion from Texas Roadhouse restaurant located on Route 222 in Trexlertown, PA. Each feature winner in Saturday night stock car racing events will receive dinner for two. The Dinners for Winners promotion is good only at the popular Trexlertown location.
In addition Texas Roadhouse will have a kid’s coins promotion going on at Grandview Speedway.
Dinners will also go to the winners of feature events in the Sunday afternoon Small Car Series that kicks off on Sunday, April 22nd at 2 p.m. and features 270 and 600 Micros, Slingshots and 600 Modifieds.
Texas Roadhouse will also be a sponsor on Pete Knappenberger’s Racer’s Roundtable Internet radio show.
Texas Roadhouse in Trexlertown is known for serving great food at very reasonable prices.
