MOTORSPORTS CANDY STORE AT MOTORSPORTS 2012 SHOW
OAKS, PA December 22, 2011 . . . If you remember what a kid’s candy store is all about then you will understand what Motorsports 2012 Presented by SEF Small Engine Fuels Race Car and Trade Show is like to racers and race fans.
There is, amongst the close to 250,000 square fee of display space just about everything imaginable in motorsports in the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA during the three show days, Friday, January 20th thru Sunday, January 22nd.
Imagine more than 250 racing vehicles on display, more than 600 exhibitor booths offering everything from helmets to trailers and you may even be able to find some candy.
And for collectors there is a large special section just for those who are looking for that rare photo, program book, die cast car or something else of value.
Looking for an education in motorsports? The three day show offers a variety of seminars ( free to show attendees ) covering subjects from finding the elusive sponsorship support to setting up the race car to win.
A ticket to the show offers the holder the opportunity to meet many top names in the sport and collect FREE autographs.
Four-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday will be there along with five time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion crew chief Chad Knaus, former NASCAR standout and now a SPEED -TV personality Jimmy Spencer, SPEED-TV personality John Roberts, sprint car legends Doug Wolfgang and Brad Doty, author and broadcaster Dave Argabright and many local and regional standouts.
On opening night the annual Model Search happens at 8 p.m. with the winner earning $500 and the opportunity to become a company representative for the balance of the show.
The very popular BPG Racing Ms. Motorsports Pageant is set for January 21st at 8 p.m.
Sunday’s Metal Fab Family Day will feature kids racing in Big Wheel competition (with Big Wheels provided by the show promoters), RAACE Foundation Charity Auction, the Little Miss Motorsports competition and more.
Show hours are 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, January 21 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 22. There is ample convenient show parking.
