URC’s Jonathan Swanson Making Comeback At Grandview

Yardville, NJ -- After suffering a broken scapula after a hard flip at Big Diamond Speedway on August 12^th, URC driver Jonathan Swanson is making his comeback at Grandview Speedway on Saturday, October 15^th. Missing the last two months of URC competition Jonathan is ready to get back into the driver’s seat.

“It’s been a long two months with not being able to race,” said Jonathan. “I know they (URC) had a few rainouts during the past two months, but I also missed a few races too. My shoulder’s all healed so I’m ready to race again.”

With Pioneer Pole Buildings being a major sponsor for the upcoming URC race at Grandview and for Jonathan, Saturday seemed like the perfect time to make his return to the track.

“I thought I would get to race again at New Egypt in September,” said Jonathan, “but the doctor told me I still needed at least another month to heal a few weeks before that race. This is the perfect situation to come back at Grandview and put on a good show for Bob and everyone at Pioneer.”

To celebrate his return to the track and to thank Pioneer for all their support throughout the season Jonathan will have several Pioneer giveaways at his trailer to join in the trick-or-treat theme for the night. After a long absence from the track Jonathan is ready to rejoin URC and fight for 13^th place in the final points standings.
