THUNDER ON THE HILL RACING SERIES

BK AUTO PARTS & ESPOSITO RACING POST $200 IN CASH TO ONE OF THE TOP EIGHT IN MODIFIED TIMED WARM-UPS. . .

GRANDVIEW THUNDER 5-25'S & HOUSE OF THUNDER HALLOWEEN PARTY TO SET FOR GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY SATURDAY NIGHT

The award winning NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series will swing into action on Saturday night, October 15 with the House of Thunder Halloween Party and the Grandview Thunder 5-25's. This features only format will include the 358 Modifieds, URC Sprints, ARDC Midgets, Sportsman and Legend Cars all competing in 25 lap feature events. Also on the program will be the Vince's Towing Legend Owners Race, the Garden State Vintage Cars and the much anticipated MONSTER SMASH Demolition Derby. The racing program will take the first green flag of the night at 6 PM with gates opening at 4 PM.

BK Auto Parts & Esposito Racing have posted $200 that will go to one of the eight fastest qualifiers in the 358 Modified timed warm-ups. The top eight drivers in timed warm-ups will first get to draw for the $200 in cash. One driver will earn the $200 treat. The fun will continue with the Trick or Treat Revenge Redraw, where the top eight drivers redraw for the top eight starting spots in the modified feature. The only trick is, the driver must give his drawn number to one of the other drivers that timed in the top eight. It will be interesting to see who gets tricked and who gets the treat!

With thanks to Jim Gallagher and Vertical Wave Telephone Communications, some $475 in cash will be distributed to the race fans. First off, the three best costumes of the night will earn $75, $50 and $25 respectfully and, the winners will be invited to take part in the always joyous victory lane ceremonies. With help from the Racer's Roundtable gals, Vertical will have a ball toss, throwing a minimum of twenty balls into the crowd that carry a value from $5 to two balls with a $50 value. The treats will continue with plenty of Halloween Candy provide by the Palmer Candy Company of Reading, PA. And don't forget, Joe the Pizza Dude will be on the hill as well.
