GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY FLASH BACK TO 1984
New jersey small block standout, Darryl Carmen made some popular apearances on the tough pa tri track circuit to try his luck. Darryl is pictured here on the high bank's of grandview speedway in one of his sharp looking #2J modified's. Darrly had a brother that raced a #2 back then, does anyone remember him? His first name also started with a D.

Darryl's brother is Dean who also ran a 4D7 Late Model and SBM at Flemington and East Windsor. Dean's son Sean also ran a Sportsman and Ford Focus Midget a few years back
ReplyDeleteDean is correct! I remember the #4D7 late model. Sorry I do not have a photo of it to post. Actually i have a photo of that car in an old modified country program book. Thank's for the added info!
