THE MONTH OF JULY OFFERS A FULL SCHEDULE OF AUTO RACING AT NASCAR SANCTIONED GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY
BECHTELSVILLE, PA JUNE 23, 2011. . . The month of July will offer a full schedule of auto racing at Grandview Speedway, the NASCAR sanctioned one-third-mile, banked clay oval, in Bechtelsville, PA. It kicks off with the biggest event of the season for the late model stock cars with the running of the C.J. High & Associates Firecracker 40 on Saturday, July 2nd. Racing gets the green at 7:30 p.m. The excitement of NASCAR Whelen 358 modifieds will be part of the show as will a spectacular fireworks show. Adult admission for the Fourth of July weekend show will be $20.
Then on Sunday, July 3rd, 1 p.m. the NEETS Enduro racers will be in action along with Outlaw Slingshots. Warmups are at 12:30 p.m. The Firecracker Smacker show for the enduro racers will include a 107-lap Big Car Enduro, Small Car Enduro 104 lapper and a ladies race. The slingshots will run a series of qualifying events leading up to a 25-lap feature race.
Mavericks Motorcycle Club Night is set for Saturday, July 9th. The doubleheader show of 358 modifieds and late models will also be a fund raiser for the Alex’s Lemonade Stand charity.
The late models again become the main attraction with a big 20-lap main event as part of the WNPV-1440AM Radio Night on Saturday, July 16. The late model feature leaders will earn extra cash courtesy of WNPV and there will be some extra money for special awards for the 358 modifieds that will be a second part of the show.
Hatfield Quality Meats will sponsor the Saturday, July 23rd doubleheader that will also feature the NASCAR 358 modifieds and late models. There will be free tickets for Pocono Raceway NASCAR events (August 5-7) for some lucky fans.
NEETS Enduro racers return for more Sunday afternoon action on July 24th with racing starting at 1 p.m. Also part of the triple show will be the Outlaw Slingshots. Warmups are on the track at 12:30 p.m.
The Bashore Trucking Challenge for the 358 modifieds is set for Saturday, July 30th with the late model stocks also part of the show.
Race of Champions dirt modifieds are at Grandview on Wednesday, August 3rd with a 60 lap feature topping the action. A 40-lap feature will be in place for the ROC Sportsman dirt trackers. Racing gets the green at 7:30 p.m.
Regular Saturday night racing shows at the Bechtelsville racing facility have adult ticket prices of $14.
