SPRINTS & MODIFIEDS HEADLINE GRANDVIEW DOUBLE-HEADER WITH  $20 ADMISSION. . . . .
TYLER WALKER LOOKS FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE THUNDER ON THE HILL WIN WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT GRANDVIEW

Tyler Walker was the hottest sprint car driver at Grandview in 2010 and he would like to keep his winning streak going.

Walker will have a chance to score his third consecutive sprint win on the "hill " Wednesday night, May 25 when the Keystone Cup 410 Sprint Series invade the Grandview Speedway.  The 358 Modifieds will be on this double-header program that will offer a wild, move to the edge of your seat show, and all for an attractive   general admission of just $20 for adults.    Gates will open at 5 PM with racing action taking the first green flag at 7:30 PM.

This event will mark the opening show of the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series that will mark the ninety-eighth event in Thunder on the Hill history.     In last year's Keystone Cup, Tyler Walker started the night by taking a wild flip during pre-race warm-ups.  Walker, rubbed off the aches and pains and climbed into his back-up car.   Walker went on to time trial in a  car that had no warm-up.  He worked his way through qualifying and into the feature event.   On lap twenty-seven of the thirty-five lap feature,  Tyler Walker of Los Angeles, CA took the lead from Greg Hodnett and went on to score the victory.     Walker returned to Grandview in June for the Keystone Cup event and rallied home the winner.

The top names in Pennsylvania Posse  sprint car racing will battle it out on the fast, wild and wicked "hill" with the talents of  Greg Hodnett, Fred Rahmer, Lance Dewease,  Mark Smith and  Daryn Pittman headlining  the cast of stars.   Joining the 410 sprints will be the 358 modifieds taking part in a series of qualifying events all leading up to the $2,500 to win twenty-five lap feature event.   The modified portion of the show is open to all competitors.  Race time is 7:30 PM with gates opening at 5 PM.    Duane Howard,  Jeff Strunk,  Craig VonDohren and Doug Manmiller are some of the modified stars expected in the field.

Vertical Wave Telephone Communications will have some fan fun activities as well as the popular Inside/Out Promotion,  where fans are invited  to watch warm-ups from the infield.    Bob Hilbert Sportswear has again designed the Thunder on the Hill race wear for 2011.  For a look at the new design, please visit our website at www.thunderonthehillracingseries.com.   The 2011 Thunder wear is displayed on the home page.
