LAWRENCE CHEVROLET TO ADD SOME BANG TO THE LINCOLN SPEEDWAY ROC MODIFIED & MACH 1 CHASSIS SPRINT DOUBLE HEADER TUESDAY, JULY 12
 
A long time friend to the Lincoln Speedway,  Gary Lawrence of Lawrence Chevrolet in Mechanicsburg, PA will add a bang (or two) to the show,  when the ROC Modifieds and the MACH 1 Chassis Sprint Double Header invades the three-eighth mile oval in the  Pigeon Hills.  
 
On Tuesday night, July 12   Lawrence Chevrolet will sponsor the parade lap fireworks  when the green flag falls to start the sixty lap ROC Modified feature as well as the 25 lap MACH 1 Chassis 358/360 sprint feature event.   This blockbuster event is sponsored by Pioneer  Pole Buildings, INC (PPB) and the local NAPA Auto Parts stores.    "I watched the Lincoln speedway be built and saw most of the races that have taken place there", said Gary Lawrence.   "I look forward to seeing the modifieds return to Lincoln, it's been a long, long time and it should  be a great show".   For more information on Lawrence Chevrolet please visit:   www.lawrencechevy.com.
 
A banner field of cars in expected for both divisions.    Thirty-seven drivers have already pre-entered the 358/360 MACH 1 Chassis sprint car feature that will pay $3,000 to win the twenty-five lap feature event.   Billy Pauch Jr. of Frenchtown, NJ is the latest entry to join the list that includes Mark Smith, Daryn Pittman, Pat Cannon, Blane Heimbach, Chad Trout, Brian Montieth, Keith Prutzman, Dave Ely, Niki Young, Kramer Williamson, Justin Collett, Aaron Ott and Adrian Shaffer just to name a few.    The feature will pay $2,000 to the winner, but if the driver is pre-entered, the payoff will be $3,000.  There is no entry fee.  To pre-enter, please call event organizer Bob Miller at 443-513-4456.
 
The ROC Modified  roster is equally impressive with the talents of Duane Howard, Stewart Friesen, Craig  VonDohren, Jeff Strunk, Doug Manmiller, Kevin Hirthler, Rick Laubach, Kevin Albert and of course, expect Billy Pauch Jr to do double duty.  As an added incentive for the modifieds, lap money will be offered.   Laps are being sold at a minimum of $10 per lap by contacting Ben Moyer at 717-679-4816 or by e-mail at squadchauffer8@gmail.com.  Look for more exciting news to be announced shortly for the modified portion of this event.
 
Pre-race entertainment will also take place as some of the top names from Lincoln Speedway take part in a special autograph session.    Smokey Snellbaker, Bobby Allan, Dizzy Dean, Lynn Paxton and Van May will do a meet and greet with YOU the race fan, prior to the start of program.
 
Both divisions will compete in a series of qualifying events leading up to the 60 lap $5,000 to win Race of Champions Modified feature and the 25 lap $3,000 to win MACH 1 Chassis 358/360 Sprint feature.   In the event of rain, Wednesday night, July 13 will be the rain date.  Gates will open at 5 PM with the show getting underway at 7:30 PM.
 
Lincoln Speedway is a very popular and  "fan friendly" track in the tri-state area, offering great unobstructed viewing from every seat in the grandstands.   The infield  is open for watching the races  by entering through the fourth turn tunnel.  The pits are asphalt, with a slight elevation and  great lighting  so fans can watch all the pit action as well.
 
The three-eighth mile Lincoln Speedway offers it all, the high speeds that you would see at the "big tracks" with the flair and excitement of the short track "bull rings".  At Lincoln Speedway, you'll have it all.
 
Thanks to the strong sponsorship support from NAPA Auto Parts, Pioneer Pole Buildings and MACH 1 Chassis, this star filled event will offer a very reasonable admission price of $20 for adults  $15 Students 12 -17,  $5 for children 6-11 and children under the age of 6 will be admitted free.   The pit fee will be $25 and a pit license will not be required.
 
Lincoln Speedway is one of the premier weekly racing facilities with superb track conditions and it's just a downright comfortable place to enjoy a race.   Mark your calendar for Tuesday night, July 12  when the Stars Race Under The Stars at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, PA.   This event is a Bob Miller/Speedway Promotions LLC presentation.
