FRENCHTOWN, NJ - For aspiring race car drivers or veterans looking to pick up some skills, class is in session at the Billy Pauch Racing School. Pauch, the Frenchtown, N.J., legend with more than 650 victories in his career, has scheduled dates for his successful driving school in 2011 at New Egypt Speedway in New Egypt, N.J., and Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa.

Pauch has two dates planned for NES: Sundays April 10 and May 1 beginning at 10 a.m. Grandview has one date, Sunday, May 15, also with a 10 a.m. start time. Registration for the school is open now by calling 908.996.6236 or 908.996.7288. An online form is also posted on the Billy Pauch Racing School website: http://www.billypauchracingschool.com/.

For those looking to experience the thrill of dirt racing without climbing behind the wheel, the Billy Pauch Racing School offers a two-seater ride-along program with Pauch as the driver.

Started by Pauch in 1989 as one of the first dirt-track schools in the area, the Billy Pauch Racing School had an initial goal of helping drivers find the fast line at a track. One year later, Pauch added a Modified - an ultimately a Sprint Car - to offer a "try before you buy" concept for aspiring racers looking to move from spectator to participant.

"I am racing with a lot of the students I've taught over the years," Pauch said, thinking back to the countless racers who took classes. "Our school fits the first-time driver looking to start out, a fan that has some thoughts of racing or a guy who has been around a while that may want to improve."

Pauch, recognized as one of the most versatile and talented drivers of all time for his wins in various race cars on dirt and pavement surfaces, begins each class by pointing out the fastest line at each facility. After the on-track portion, he discusses car control and chassis setups with each individual student.

The Billy Pauch Racing School is located at 611 Highway 519 Frenchtown, NJ 08825. To learn more, call 908.996.6236 or 908.996.7288. On the web: http://www.billypauchracingschool.com/.
