Vintage Super Dirt Week 1979

Truely a super car! The infamous kenny weld built "sidewinder" this car is one of my all time favorite's. As a young kid, i would see this car often at U.S.13 speedway with Walt behind the wheel. Even had the chance to see this car at reading a time or two. But most of my fondest memories are from delaware. You want to talk about rolling thunder, this car personified that saying. What a great era that was, especially for a young impressionable kid. Car's and driver's like that, are a big reason why i remain a hardcore motorsport's fan today.
