TROYER RACE CARS & PARTS TO SPONSOR THE RoC ICEBREAKER IV WEEKEND AT SELINSGROVE

Selinsgrove, Pa… The fourth edition of the Race of Champions Dirt Modified Tour RoC Icebreaker Weekend that starts the year off at the Selinsgrove Speedway just keeps getting bigger with more money on the line for the racers who compete.



Successful Rochester, NY racing business Troyer Race Cars and Parts have signed on to be a sponsor of the RoC Icebreaker Weekend IV at Selinsgrove for the second year in a row. Troyer will be sponsoring the top three Troyer chassis finishers in the features from both nights with gift certificates of $150, $100, and $50 respectively.



Also this year the Troyer Race Cars & Parts house car owned by Al Heinke and Tommy Baldwin and is driven by Jimmy Phelps will be in action at Selinsgrove.

I was impressed with the effort of Joe ( Kaminski ) and Selinsgrove management has put forth to make this show so popular in a short time and it continues to get bigger “ said Billy Colton of Troyer Race Cars & Parts. “ This program that we have at the “ Icebreaker “ it gives us at Troyer Race Cars and Parts a chance to give something back to the racers who use our products. The RoC Icebreaker Weekend gets underway on Friday March 18th with a complete 358 Modified racing program that features a 25 lap $2,200 minimum to win feature, Big Block Modifieds will be receiving multiple hot lap sessions on Friday night. Saturday March 19th will see a full Race of Champions Dirt Modified Tour racing program topped off by a 40 lap $4,000 minimum to win feature. In case of inclement weather Sunday March 20th has been reserved as a rain date.



Once again this year a driver does not have to compete in both shows trying to earn points toward the lucrative Race of Champions Dirt Modified Tour championship. Drivers who wish to compete in both shows will see their best finish of the weekend count toward RoC points.
