Enduro Racing Featured At Big Diamond Speedway On Five Occasions In 2011 - Registration Open Now On Big Diamond Speedway Website



MINERSVILLE, PA - Enduro racing will play a key role in the Big Diamond Speedway 2011 racing schedule.



Five Sunday-evening events are planned for the upcoming season at the clay oval featuring 8-Cylinder, 4-Cylinder and Ladies competition on each race date. Enduro dates for '11 are May 15, June 26, July 17, August 21 and September 11.



Registration for the first Enduro is underway now on the Big Diamond website: www.bigdiamondspeedway.net. The entry fee for the 8-Cylinder and 4-Cylinder divisions is set at $50 per car for each event. Ladies Enduro registration is $25.



To register, make checks payable to Jake Smulley and mail to P.O. Box 524 Minersville, PA 17954. The starting lineups for the May 15 events will be established by the order registration forms are received. Competitors are encouraged to register early.



Dan Drobnick Welding has signed on to sponsor the first two Enduro programs. Marketing opportunities remain for the July, August and September dates.

Big Diamond Speedway opens its 39th season Sunday, April 3 with a 35-lap, $3,000-to-win special for 358-Modifieds plus Sportsman and Roadrunners starting at 5 p.m. An open practice is scheduled for Sunday, March 27.



Before the roar of engines in Schuylkill County, the Fairlane Village Mall in Pottsville, Pa., hosts the Big Diamond Speedway Race Car Show March 7-12. Registration is underway online at http://www.bigdiamondspeedway.net/ and http://www.bdmotorsportsmedia.com/. Space is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
