2011 Dates Established for Reading Eagle-WEEU 830 AM Racing Legends Reunion & Car Show of Reading, Pa., and IRCO Community Federal Credit Union Dirt Track Heroes Show of Phillipsburg, N.J.

BOYERTOWN, PA - The final checkered flags of the 2010 season are soon to wave, signaling the start of the off-season for the Northeast racing community. While area speedways will be silent in the coming months, the local motorsports faithful begin preparations for the traditional car shows providing exposure for race teams, sponsors and speedways.

Dates have been established for two of the most anticipated winter car shows, the 26th annual Reading Eagle - WEEU 830 AM Racing Legends Reunion & Car Show at the Fairgrounds Square Mall in Reading, Pa., and the fourth edition of the IRCO Community Federal Credit Union Dirt Track Heroes Show at the Phillipsburg Mall in Phillipsburg, N.J.

The annual Reading event, situated in the heart of Berks County at the former site of the Reading Fairgrounds, gets underway on Sunday, February 20 and runs through Saturday, February 26. Highlights of the show will include the Reading Fairgrounds Speedway Reunion (Friday, February 25) and second Penn National Speedway Reunion (Saturday, February 26).

The IRCO Dirt Track Heroes Show begins Sunday, March 6 and continues through Saturday, March 12. The Phillipsburg Mall is conveniently located off Route 22 East, just minutes from Interstate 78. A number of speedway tributes and theme nights are planned during the growing event.

Vendor and car registrations for both shows gets underway in late November. Space is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
