BECHTELSVILLE, PA September 10, 2010 . . . With $20,000 and more on the line for the winner of the 40th Annual BPG Racing Freedom76, the grand-daddy of all the big money modified stock car racing events, the cream of the crop of area dirt track modified racers are expected to be on hand at Grandview Speedway on Saturday, September 18th when the green flag drops at 7 p.m.

Duane Howard, the Grandview Speedway track champion who is having a racing career in one season, is looking to win this classic for the fourth time. He is on his way to what could be a $100,000 plus season having already won a couple of championships and a couple of big money races.

Stewart Friesen, the Canadian racer with more than 20 wins this season, will be a teammate to Howard in Chad Sinon owned BPG Racing entries making for double barrel favorites.

However six time winner Billy Pauch who is expected to be there, having announced his intentions on the Racers Roundtable radio show a few weeks back, will be looking for win number seven. Dirt track legend Jimmy Horton has his sights set on a first time win. Craig VonDohren, a six time track champion and four time winner of the Freedom 76, will be looking to add to his impressive list of victories for the season.

A number of visitors, racers from other area speedways, are expected as some have entries in the mail and others will wait until race day to enter the modified racing classic.

Race fan Steve Sabo will enjoy his bachelor party in the BPG Racing sponsor booth as a result of his fiance Sandy Quintas writing a letter outlining why her future husband should get to use the booth. It was a first prize in a contest sponsored by BPG Racing.

A full series of qualifying events, including the Schaeffer Motorsports Minuteman 20, will lead up to the 40th annual BPG Racing Freedom 76. Heat winners and other top performers will have the opportunity to take part in the BFP Specialty Cash Dash which will reward the winner with $1,000.
