TRIPLEHEADER SET FOR SATURDAY, MAY 1 AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY, SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR MAY 15TH EVENT



BECHTELSVILLE, PA April 29, 2010 . . . Fans heading out to NASCAR sanctioned Grandview Speedway on Saturday (May 1) will be treated to quite an exciting evening of motorsports entertainment. A tripleheader show of auto racing action featuring the NASCAR Whelen All American Series 358 Modifieds, the Late Models and the Sidewinder Sprints will be featured with a 7:30 p.m. starting time. Fans should note the new starting time that will be in place until the September 18th BPG Racing Freedom 76 Modified Classic.

The Saturday show, with the Sidewinders making their only appearance of the 2010 season, will still carry the same $13 admission price for an adult that is in place for the regular doubleheader shows.

NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Late Models will be the attraction on Auto Locator Magazine Night Saturday, May 8th along with the first 200 adults through the admission gate receiving a ticket to the Pocono Raceway ARCA race on June 5th.

Mother’s Day (May 9) will see the NEETS (North East Enduro Tour Series) performing at Grandview Speedway in a 2 p.m. doubleheader show that will also include the SpeedSTRs.



On Saturday, May 15th there has been a change in the originally scheduled events. The NASCAR 358 Modifieds, ARDC Wingless Midgets and SpeedSTRs will make up a tripleheader show with the Late Model stock cars getting a night off. Adult admission for the special May 15th tripleheader show, giving fans their only opportunity to see the exciting ARDC Midgets in a regular season Saturday night event, will be $20 while youngsters 6 through 11 pay just $5 and children under 6 are admitted FREE.

3 STARZ Landscaping of Hatboro, PA will sponsor the Saturday, May 22nd racing with the NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Late Models in action starting at 7:30 p.m. and the same doubleheader action-filled show will take place on Saturday, May 29th.

Modified racers at Grandview Speedway have the opportunity to earn point fund money from three sources in 2010 including the new American Racer Tire East Coast Modified Program, the NASCAR Whelen All American Series point program and the Grandview Speedway point program.

The first Thunder on the Hill Racing Series midweek special will take place on Wednesday, May 26th when the Keystone Cup Speed Week Series 410 sprints are in action along with the Sportsman stock cars. Racing will get the green flag at 7:30 p.m.
