2nd Annual Daytona 500 Benefit Party for Green Flag Childrens' Charities







February 14, doors open at noon at NJMP Drivers Clubhouse







Thunderbolt Raceway opens at 11am for you to drive your car in our "laps for charity!"







David Donohue, Winner of the 09 Daytona Rolex Grand Am 24 Hour Race will return in 2010 to greet Charity Supporters during an autograph session and "race" against guests on the Daytona Speedway Simulator!!







As the Green Flag drops on the Daytona 500 at 1 PM in sunny Florida, the NJMP Green Flag Childrens Charities will be dropping their own green flag of racing at the NJMP Drivers Clubhouse as they enjoy the Daytona 500 on the four Clubhouse big screens.







Supporting guests will challenge Daytona Rolex Grand Am 24 Hour Champion David Donohue on the NJMP Daytona Speedway simulator.







The guest driver that comes closest to or faster than Donohue's fastest lap on the simulator will win 2 season passes for 2010 at NJMP and a "Day in the Life" of an NJMP Drivers Club Member. In addition, the top 10 fastest drivers on the simulator will win a starting position to compete against last year's 10 winners in the Green Flag Charity Challenge Cup at the NJMP Karting Track in a 20 lap feature race during the spring of 2010.







Guests will also register to win over 50 door prizes, including tickets to spectator events during the 2010 racing season at NJMP.







Car & Motorcycle clubs will display contemporary, custom, historic, and classic street & competition race cars & motorcycles in their attempt to win "best of show" as judged by guests in attendance. The entry fee for the car & cycle show component will be $20 per vehicle, and the winning vehicle will win ½ of the total registration fees.







All this activity will directly benefit the NJMP Green Flag Children's Charities. This will be the first Green Flag Charity event held at NJMP during the 2010 racing season, all culminating in the third annual Green Flag Children's Charities "Coats For Kids" day during the 2010 winter holiday season.
