IT'S BIKE NIGHT AT BRIDGEPORT

Boys and Girls!  It's Bike Night and several lucky boys and girls will leave the Bridgeport Speedway with brand new bicycles this Saturday night!

And anyone who drives/rides their motorcycle to the races will be admitted free.  Bikes will be on display behind the grandstand throughout the night's events.  Trophies will be awarded in several categories.

There promises to be plenty of racing action as the Spirit Auto Center Big Block Modifieds, Stewart Stainless Crate/Sportsman and Hilborn Tri State Race Saver (TSRS) Sprint Cars take part in the tripleheader racing program.

Tommy Beamer is fresh off his feature win in the Thornton Gulf No. 31 and will be looking to back up his win with another strong performance.  Jamie Mills, Duane Howard and Wade Hendrickson each have two wins this season.  Current point leader, Ryan Watt, Rick Laubach and Sam Martz each have one win to their credit this season and are actively pursuing that second win.  Joseph Watson continues to cover the driving chores of the Blue Hen No. 30 for the injured Mills and has a third place finish to his credit.

Eric Korman picked up his second win of the season in the Stewart Stainless Crate/Sportsman, joining drivers Jeremy Harrington and Matt Stangle as multi race winners this season.  Bill Briggs earned his best finish of the season when he finished second to Kormann in last week's contest.  Jeff Bubori has earned several top five finishes and is still searching for his first win.

The TSRS Sprint Cars have competed five times this season and each race has produced a new winner.  Kevin Nagy, Christopher Allen, Eddie Wagner, Mike Haggenbottom and Ryan Stillwaggon have each captured one Bridgeport win this season.  Allen, Wagner and Stillwaggon each have won once during Tanner Brothers Dairy Store/Thayer Performance Poker Series competition.  This week's race will be the fourth hand in the 2016 contest.

Racing gets underway at 7pm on Saturday night but come out early and enjoy the musical entertainment along with the tasty offerings of the Bridgeport Speedway concession stands.  Shop for a new racing t-shirt or another souvenir.  Pick up the Bridgeport Bullet - the official program of the Bridgeport Speedway - and check out all of the recent race results, driver rosters and loads of photos.  Or take a ride with the Bridgeport Bandit on the Bandit Bus and get an up close look at the behind the scenes action in the pit area before the racing action gets underway.

And don't forget - the Bridgeport Speedway is the ONLY place where you can see the Big Block Modifieds in action in the state of New Jersey!  The Bridgeport Speedway is committed to maintaining a safe, fun, family atmosphere, creating life-lasting memories of excitement!
