Fireworks and 40 Lapper Rained Out For Dan Green’s NGK Spark Plug #46!
Coatesville, PA – July 9, 2016
– The G & H Motorsports NASCAR BRC Grandview Speedway Dirt Late Model team was
getting final touches done when the sky opened up and rain came pouring down.
Shortly thereafter the message was sent out that Grandview Speedway cancelled
the racing program which included the Chapman Auto Firecracker 40 for the late
models.
With the rainout the Fireworks display was also cancelled and will not
be rescheduled. The 40 lapper will be run next Saturday July 16.
Team makes a couple changes
The last few weeks the team has been searching for a better set-up. Dan
talked to Brandon Bernheisel who advised to make a few changes, we tried a
couple of the changes last week and it helped. Brandon suggested a couple more
to try and the team made those minor adjustments for the 40 lapper to be run
next week. The team is very optimistic about the setup and feel confident about
Dan’s chances to be up front when the checker falls.
Next Event
The next event for the Hot Rod Tracking #46 will be Saturday July 16 at the
Low Down and Dirty’s Meet and Greet at Grandview Speedway before the races
start from 5 PM to 6 PM. We will have team merchandise available and as always
lots of FREE items. The team will be giving away 4 RC cars, so get there early
and make sure you sign up to win!
Dan will then race that night in the Firecracker 40 sponsored by Chapman
Ford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Horsham, PA. Adult admission is $20 while
youngsters 6-11 are $5 and under 6 get in for free. The race is the biggest of
the year for the BRC Late Models at Grandview Speedway with double points being
awarded
Team News
Dan Green T-shirts and Hoodies are still available so pick yours up as
soon as you can! The team has them at the track or if you can’t make it to the
track email us and we can work something out. Shirts are $15, Hoodies are $25
and Hats are $10. Very reasonable for any race fan! If you are unable to make
it to Grandview Speedway please email us and we will be able to send to you!
