2016 FIRECRACKER 40 GOES TO THE #72 TEAM !
A well-deserved victory for the #72 team Saturday night in the Chapman Auto Group Grandview Speedway Firecracker 40 ! The #72 BRC Late Model car driven by Wayne Pfeil and crewed by a Great assembly of talent was the class of the field for 40 laps of mayhem and I think the after party is still GoinG, conGrats to the entire team!
QUICK RESULTS:
Thanks Al and JD for the lonG day/niGht crewinG, and Steve for arranGinG the hauler (thanks Ken H ) for the eveninG!! 22 Late Models siGned in for the event. The #22 started the Chapman Auto Group Firecracker 40 feature event in 13thand finished 14th. We continue to learn and strive for better finishes… but we finished on the lead lap and rolled it onto the trailer, which is always a Good niGht. This is an event that holds a special place in my heart so a sincere thanks to the Bartorillo’s and hardworkinG crew who made my participation in this year’s Firecracker 40 possible, Thank you all!! ConGrats Wayne Pfeil on the BRC Late Model 40 lap feature win, alonG with Kyle Weiss in the TP Trailer Modifieds, and Brandon Papiez in the Sportsman division.

v Happy 14th Birthday to Kylie Bartorillo Sunday !!! Kylie is the ‘’K’’ in KAM Fueled and is almost ready to take over drivinG duties for the ol Geezer I hear !! Cheers kid!!
v Happy weddinG anniversary to Linda and Steve Bartorillo, not sure how many years it is but Steve is one lucky Guy for Linda to put up with him, God bless her !! LOL
v Alex Bartorillo and a few of his buddies enjoyed a ‘’niGht at the races’’ includinG pictures in victory lane, shirts, ear pluGs, autoGraph cards and tons more !! What a Great siGht to see when all the kids were on the front stretch for our 40 lap feature driver introductions, a special moment for me, thanks kids hope you each enjoyed it as much as I did !!

v Great to see Kylie Sophia, Keith Gerhart, Ralphie, ‘Joe’ from Hollenshead Auto, Joe Adams and a host of others after the races. We actually had ‘cold’ beveraGes for a chanGe and enjoyed some lauGhs toGether… or maybe they were lauGhinG ‘at’ me, not sure, but it was fun.
v A special thanks to the owners and staff at the Sunshine Café for hostinG the team for lunch and havinG the car out front for a few hours at the Limerick, Pa. location from 2:30 til 4 !! This Saturday July 23rd will be Hatfield Quality Meats Night at Grandview Speedway !! Some Hatfield Meats samples will be available early in the eveninG in turn one. Hatfield Quality Meats mascot will also be shootinG some shirts and hot doGs into the crowd throuGhout the evening. The BRC Late Models, TP Trailer Modifeds and Sportsman divisions will continue with their fierce competition for an unheard of $15 adult admission.
