PRATT IS GETTING READY TO STEER FAMILY OWNED MODIFIEDS IN 2016
Sicklerville, NJ (February 28, 2016) – In 2016, one of the more successful drivers based in New Jersey is ready to steer to a family owned Big Block Modified. Richie Pratt, Jr., out of Sewell, NJ, is set to race in cars owned by his father, Richie Pratt, Sr. “This season, I will be driving cars owned by my dad,” said the thirty-nine year old racer.
A second generation driver, Pratt has been very successful in his dirt racing endeavors. In his twenty-year career, he has won at seven different tracks and has visited victory lane one hundred and thirteen times. Along the way in his career, he has racked up eight track championships. Entering the 2016 season, the team is planning to compete at Bridgeport Speedway in the Big Block Modified class and travel to special events in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. “I would love to win the Big Block Modified title this year at Bridgeport Speedway. The competition is very tough at the track but I feel we have the team in place to do it,” declared Pratt. On Saturday, March 12, the team is planning to kick-off the year with a visit to Georgetown Speedway for the Short Track Super Series opener. The team will have primary sponsorship from South Jersey Overhead Doors which is owned by famed car owner Sal DeBruno. B&F Towi ng, Delran Auto Body and Drissel’s Ace Hardware will be marketing partners as well in 2016.
