ERNIE SAXTON’S MOTORSPORTS COLUMNS TO REACH MANY MORE READERS
LANGHORNE, PA January 22, 2016 . . . “We are making an effort to reach more fans of the sport as our column on local, regional and national motorsports will now reach a much larger audience,” said long time motorsports journalist Ernie Saxton.
Saxton’s column has been appearing on the Norristown, PA Times Herald website for a few years and now will be found on the websites of the Delaware County, PA Times, West Chester’s Daily Local News, Pottstown, PA Mercury, along with the Times Herald. In addition the column will be found on the websites of a number of Pennsylvania weekly newspapers including the Boyertown Times, Hamburg Item, Kutztown Patriot, Southern Berks News and others.
“This is good for local auto racing because we will be in a position to offer more exposure for the weekly short tracks plus we will be including NASCAR news, drag racing and coverage of other forms of the sport,” commented Saxton. “Speedways and race teams should make a point of including us on their media release list at esaxton144@aol.com.”
The veteran writer, more than 50 years of experience, will also continue to provide columns to Area Auto Racing News, Circle Track magazine, Canada’s Inside Track Motorsports News, National Dragster, Late Model Racer magazine and, from time to time the Bucks County, PA Courier Times where articles have appeared for more than 40 years.
The 74-year-old motorsports veteran who continues to work in sponsorship marketing, public relations can be heard on www.wpsltv.com ( a motorsports radio show that can be heard on the Internet from just about anywhere) out of Port St. Lucie, Florida on Tuesday nights at 6:05 p.m. (back on the air February 2nd) with long time radio personality Bill Claren and a variety of guests. He is also part of Skip Clayton’s WBCB-1490 AM, Monday night motorsports radio show from time to time.
