THIS WEEKEND AT THE BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY

It's First Responders Night at the Bridgeport Speedway this Saturday night as the Logan Township racing facility honors men and women who serve their local communities and municipalities by serving on fire, rescue and ambulance crews.
The Steward Stainless Crate/Sportsman division will be featured in Twin 15 lap feature events in addition to a full show of Spirit Auto Center Big Block Modifieds and PennCo Tech Outlaw Stocks. Last week's racing action saw two new winners in Victory Lane as Dave Hunt (Modifieds) and TJ Henry (Outlaw Stocks) earned their first wins of the season while CJ Jone (Crate/Sportsman) and Jeramy Doerr (Outlaw Stocks) continued to add to their season win totals.
A full night of racing is planned in addition to musical entertainment and fun for the whole family. Meet the Bridgeport Bandit and take a ride on the Bandit Bus to get a closer look at the behind the scenes action from the pit area as the competitors prepare for a night of racing action on the 5/8th mile speedway.
Saturday night's events get underway at 7pm.
The weekend gets started on Friday night on the Bridgeport quarter mile track with 270 and 600 cc Micro Sprints and 4 Cylinder Enduro cars. The Hilborn Tri State Race Saver Sprint Cars return for another night of action as they take to their high speed action to the big track as part of the Friday night show. Racing gets underway at 8pm.
And don't forget to mark Tuesday, August 18th on your calendar for the 10th Annual Friends of Mike Race at the Bridgeport Speedway. This year, the Bill Hill Memorial for the Crate/Sportsman cars will be part of this event. This is one night of racing you won't want to miss!
