On Wednesday, July 15th, the Bridgeport Speedway and sponsor Delaware Auto Exchange will present the Bridgeport Speedway "Three for All", a tripleheader event that will showcase three different divisions of racing - Super Late Models, 358 Small Block Modifieds and the 360 Sprint Cars of the United Racing Club. This show has something to offer every race fan regardless of their interest.
Before the racing action begins on the 5/8th mile speedway, fans will have the opportunity to meet NASCAR Xfinity driver, CJ Fasion as he greets fans upon their arrival to the speedway. At just twenty-one years of age, Faison has more racing experience than many twice his age. Starting with go karts at the age of five, Faison has grown up racing cars. From go karts to micro sprints, slingshots to Mod-Lites, Faison has raced his way to where he is today - signed with JGL Racing in NASCAR's Xfinity Series.
The title sponsor of this event, the Delaware Auto Exchange, is owned and operated by Ronald Faison, Jr. and his son, CJ. The Delaware Auto Exchange is located on Route 13 in Felton, DE where it serves car dealers as well as consumers with their weekly auto auctions.
The Faisons, father and son, are interested in supporting auto racing events and it was the nature of the "Three for All" that first drew their attention. "My dad and Iare racing advocates. We want to support race tracks that are trying to do some different types of things," Faison related. Racing Super Late Models, Small Block Modifieds and 360 Sprint Cars as part of the same show is indeed, different.
On Wednesday evening, CJ Faison will compete in his own #39 Rocket Late Model at the Bridgeport Speedway along with the likes of Ricky Elliot, Dan Stone, Andrew Mullins, Amanda Whaley, Austin Hubbard and Ross Robinson. But not before, Faison spends some time with the fans.
