TWO NIGHTS OF AUTO RACING AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY THIS WEEKEND‏

LUPUS AWARENESS NIGHT AT GRANDVIEW ON SATURDAY,
                THUNDER ON THE HILL SERIES SET FOR SUNDAY NIGHT
BECHTELSVILLE, PA May 20, 2015 . . . T.P. Trailers NASCAR 358 Modified racers, those who have not won so far this season, will be looking to add their name to the growing list of this year’s winners on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway. The 358 Modifieds have had five different winners out of the six events run so far this season showing that competition is very tough on the clay oval. In addition to the Modifieds the highly competitive BRC Late Models will be in action along with the action packed Sportsman stock cars.
                Some of the area’s top dirt track racing talents will be in action including Craig VonDohren, Duane Howard, Jeff Strunk, Doug Manmiller, Kyle Weiss, Kevin Hirthler, Meme DeSantis and a host of others.
                The second annual Turn The Track Purple Night will have racing at 7:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. As is normal the Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet featuring drivers and cars from each division will take place at the main gate as the gates open. This week Sportsman racers Kyle and Ryan Lilick will be featured.
                17-year-old Lupus patient Haley Williams Wetzel has been battling the diseas e for 10 years. She has a love for local dirt track racing. Fans and racers are being asked to wear something purple as that is the Lupus awareness color. Team Haley will have a table set up to distribute info on Lupus as well as make pins available to those who would like to show their support of the dread disease. Purple candy ribbons and butterfly lollipops will be available and they will be chancing off two gift baskets. All proceeds will go to the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center for Lupus research.
                Adult admission is $15 while youngsters 11 and under are admitted free. Active military are admitted free with proper ID. Pit admission is $30 and requires a NASCAR license.
                Fans should not forget to text and win in the Ingersoll Rand contest. From 11 a.m. Saturday to 11 p.m. on Sunday text IRTOOLSGRV to 313131 and have a chance to win a merchandise prize pack from Ingersoll Rand. You have to text each weekend to have a chance to win.</P>
                On Sunday, May 24th, 7:30 p.m. the popular Thunder on the Hill Series will feature five 25-lap features, no qualifying events, for the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman, TSRS Sprints, ARDC wingless Midgets and Legends cars. Adult admission is $20.
                Coming up on Saturday, May 30th, 7:30 p.m. is T.P. Trailers of Limerick Night featuring the NASCAR T.P. Trailers 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman along with the extra added attraction of the Blast from the Past Vintage racers. This will also be Neurofibromatosis Awareness Night, an event that was rained out on May 16th.
                The rained out Checkered Flag Fan Club visit to Grandview is now set for June 6th as part of Bashore Trucking/BFP Specialties Night. A 40-lap feature for the NASCAR Sportsman racers will be a highlight of the night along with T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds and BRC Late Models. Adult admission will be $20 while youngsters 5 through 11 will pay just $5 and under 5 will be admitted free.
