BOYERTOWN, PA – The Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Hi-Tek launched its 2015 season with successful spring programs at Orange County (N.Y.) Fair Speedway April 11 and Bridgeport (N.J.) Speedway April 19.
As has become the norm at STSS events, massive payouts were distributed to the big-block/small-block Modified competitors in attendance. Both events attracted large and diverse fields, with 52 Modifieds signing in at OCFS and 42 at Bridgeport. Stewart Friesen of Sprakers, N.Y., was the North Region winner at OCFS while Hellertown, Pa., driver Rick Laubach took the inaugural South Region checkered at Bridgeport.
