Dick Cozze passes
It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of our Dad, Richard "Dick"
Cozze Sr. of Jutland, NJ. Dad passed away Sunday afternoon, surrounded as usual
by the loved ones.
As many of you know, Dad loved racing and the racing community. His involvement began in the late 40's at Ruppert Stadium as a driver and car owner. His brief driving career ended when Mom found out he had used the family sedan in a race the previous weekend. In the mid 60's, he got the bug again when he took us kids to Harmony Speedway. The rest of his story is a big part of local racing history.
Thank you Dad, for getting us involved in racing and for being the man that you are.
Last respects can be paid at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Rte 31, Clinton NJ, Wednesday 2-4 and 6-9.
The family requests that any memorial donations be sent to the Shannon Daley Memorial Fund, PO Box 1271, Whitehouse Station NJ, 08889.
